Another Cube Run Game is my take on an endless-runner where players navigate a cube through increasingly challenging levels. In the process of making this game, I furthered my game development skills in the following ways:

Blueprints: This project enhanced my skills in Unreal Engine's Blueprint visual scripting system. I utilized Blueprints to create the game's mechanics and manage game flow, improving my understanding of UE5 logic and event handling.

Functional Level System: I developed a standard level system, allowing players to progress through stages with unique challenges. This taught me how to balance difficulty and provide a fair yet challenging experience for players.

Persistent Audio with Game Instancing: Implementing persistent audio using game instancing ensured seamless background music and sound effects across levels, enhancing the gaming experience and teaching me about global state management in UE5.

Credits/Attribution Page: Creating a credits and attribution page connected to the main menu demonstrated my commitment to ethical game development and improved my skills in UI design and navigation.

Incremental Level Difficulty: I focused on incrementally increasing level difficulty to keep players engaged and challenged, requiring planning and playtesting to ensure a smooth learning curve.

Importing Assets: Importing various assets such as fonts and textures enhanced the game's visual appeal and improved my proficiency in asset management.

Another Cube Run Game was instrumental in advancing my game development skills, from Blueprint scripting to designing seamless audio experiences, creating functional level systems, and ensuring proper attribution. This project has prepared me for my next personal challenge in the Game Development industry.
